History of TF

~ Truidian Federation History ~

The Truidian Federation (TF) was formed at the end of age 19 when Jaco left the Nation of Hope (NH) alliance after becoming disenchanted with the direction of the alliance and felt a new type of alliance was needed.  Moreover Jaco felt the world had become corrupted by elitist groups who only took what they needed to compete for the number one spot and abused anyone else who was not with them.  Despite active deletion waves by Mehul against these elite alliances, their leaders quickly scripted and traded in replacements so the world remained in a constant state of arrogance and elitism. The Federation was founded to be a lighthouse in the thick fog that is elitism and corruption for all those seeking a place where sovereignty would remain for each member and the alliance could be a tool, but not a crutch, for all.

Jaco met with his friends to work out a design and concept for the new alliance, TimeKeeper and Carsten suggesting a new family like alliance that was led by the monarchs.  But despite making several suggestions Jaco struggled to sell the idea to even his closest friends at first, but as the alliance took shape and picked up speed so to did the ease of finding willing individuals to pick up a hammer to help build the alliance foundation.  Building upon the basic concepts discussed a new and revolutionary new system was developed that saw a change from the typical Monarchial style government to the Truidian Republic style government that allowed monarchs to legislate and gave each member a voice.

The Federation grew slowly from its seed, evolving slowly into an able and strong group. Building off the successes and failures of his past projects in Nex Imperio and Nation of Hope, Jaco sought to build a small stable core group of kingdoms before expanding outwards.  The first kingdoms to join the Federation after Zeromen were Fluffy Bunnies and Mint Rubbing and those three kingdoms were quickly joined by equally impressive kingdoms and it was not long before TF had a solid alliance.

Over time the size and strength of the Federation fluctuated only in small amounts but as the cities grew so did the loyalty and commitment to the alliance and what started out as a small struggling group of kingdoms fast became a respected middle class alliance with quality kingdoms and members. The Truidian Federation forces fast became reknown for their ability to wage war as Forbidden Scrolls and Mint Rubbing ended consecutive ages with near or over double digit war wins.

As we come to now and look into the future TF remains on the forefront of unique design and governing and while not an elite alliance it still prides itself on capable quality kingdoms and a small intimate family setup that has kept it running strong since its creation.  The alliance itself barely maintains a public presence and remains shadowy yet mature and capable in the realm of public affairs and diplomacy.

~Truidians At War~

The Federation has only been involved in two alliance conflicts, and however brief both were, it nevertheless showed what solid kingdoms and excellent tactics can do against a larger but less organized and poorly lead alliances

The Truidian Federation declared war on The Dreaded Community (TDC) after TDC foolishly began to war plan against Surion, at the time a TF territory, in their public channels. The inability of TDC allowed TF adequate time to both marshall its troops and make great war plans and when the first invasion wave hit TDC it took eight hours for TDC to muster any action that could be described as a defensive action

- Invasion of TDC/Truidian Battlefields Offensive -

Officers Leffe and Xen were the first two to land troops on TDC soil and invade inland, they met little resistance even as far in as 20 miles and nearing the TDC regional capital city only small pockets of their "elite" guard attempted to slow the TF offensive inland.

Valih Galith division then laid seige to TDCs most beautiful battlefields city, turning it into a pile of rubble within three days. VG Division then withdrew to assist in a second offensive while Officer Xen continued to crush whatever resistance remained inside the city

- WoL Offensive -

Despite going against a larger army on the WoL server, Truidian marines showed a remarkable ability to wage war against multiple kingdoms effectively with minimal losses to themselves. Despite having numerical superiority, TDC forces failed to engage the landing TF marines due to their miscalculation of their combat abilities. Rob Zombies and Valkyries TDC who watched the invasion from a distance saw what essentially was a six division TF marine landing and assumed it was 16 divisions due to the efficiency and ability of the TF marine forces. Making deep progress slowly the Frozen Divine and Dangerous divisions made incredible strikes against TDC defensive positions two miles inland from the beachhead and had only minimal problems destroying the positions through excellent coordination

- Battle of the Ravens -

In a last ditch effort to re-establish themselves on the battlefield server, TDC put all their eggs into one basket and sent their entire army and reserves into a battle to break the TF line against the TRF division led by Matrix. Againt he superior ability of the TF kingdom shown brightly as Matrix's men gave only a little ground and never broke, stopping the weak TDC offensive in its tracks while inflicting heavy casualties against the entire TDC front! After a 48 hour seige Matrix resupplied his division and made segway against the five TDC divisions against him, actually gaining several miles from his original position. What is more embarassing for TDC is that their leader, Illusions actually planned and attempted to coordinate the failed assault and nearly escaped capture and certain death when Matrix executed a brilliant night time strike against TDC supplies coming in.

- WoL Stalemate -

Despite having the superior kingdoms, TF marines soon realized that TDC had to many numbers to continue moving so quickly inland, so WoL commanders elected to hold onto the several miles of land they had captured, over 80% by the Frozen and Dangerous divisions whose actions left TDC armies disarrayed and demoralized. Several defensive positions were erected in the towns along the front as TDC only attempted token counter offensives against the line, often intimidated by the Faith and Absolute divisions led by Faith and Alrix who sat in ready position near a WoL salient and far outclassed anything the TDC armies had fielded in defense of their lands. Until the remainder of the war TF marines held their ground and did not give up an inch to the TDC forces who attacked chaotically and often without much spirit.

- Battlefield Western Offensive Renewed -

On the western end of the offensive line were the Lunatic and Roadkill divisions under the command of Jasp3r and Baron von Throne. Considered the safer region of the front, ironically these two divisions saw the most combat action of any TF group and as had become to norm in the war by this stage of the conflict, dominated a weaker less organized TDC opposing force entrenched in inland cities as the offensive continued to steamroll inwards towards the TDC capital. Roadkill engaged what had been described in TDC propaganda as a battle hardened veteran division but the biggest problem the Roadkill division ran into was having its supply unit keep up as they quickly overran TDC positions and set up a makeshift defensive positioninside the newly captured city as the scattered TDC division attempted several unsuccessful counteroffensives to reacquire the city they had so easily given up

The Lunatic division went up against the royal home guard, Toasters TDC, nearing the capital city of The Dreaded Community. Seeing little chance for victory, Toasters turned to suicide tactics against TF marines as they marched towards the shack-filled capital city. Only slowing TF marines briefly, Jasp3r had little problems dispatching this "elite" home guard but the end of the war agreement made between TF and TDC ruined the poor capital cities chance to see a more free and civilized way of life under Truidian hands and in the week following the war several Truidian cities saw jumps in population as TDC peasants came over from the West to the more economically strong lands of Truidia

- Truidia Withdraws and Lessons Learned -

After the Surion divisions mass surrendered and attempted to betray the Federation, Jaco called an end to the war on TDC and discussed a cease fire with TDC wol commanders, giving TF armies a chance to strike the Surion confederacy of cowardly kingdoms. Fearing TF reprisals after seeing their deadly efficiency on thefield of battle, Glory of Surion quickly fled into vacation mode to escape the Dangerous division who was preparing to assault their weak army. The war ended with TF withdrawing yet having won every battle in which engagements degraded into war. Having gone against a numerically superior force and having come away with thousands of acres gained and no detags or war surrenders was a massive accomplishment but not alltogether a surprise given the known abilities of the average TF kingdom and excellent war planning by Jaco and his officers.

TDCs propaganda machine was in full effect all war and long after in both Utopia Temple and IRC chatrooms as TDC attempted to save face from its horrible defeat on the field of battle. Despite having had failed to defend itself against TF, a smaller alliance and foolishly war planning in public and then, already looking like idiots, trying to say it was all staged only worsed TDC's already poor reputation in Utopia and served as a good trial run for the TF war machine. It was a well earned victory for a new and evolving alliance, and while we would by all means prefer to earn our stripes without marching into war TDC learned a lesson first hand that TF will defend its land whatever the cost and against anyone regardless of size.

- The Semper Conflict -

The second war TF forces were involved in would be a much more convincing victory. In all over 36,000 acres of enemy territory was conquered and two kingdoms, Spaced Invaders SF (6:21) and legion of Legends (9:46) were almost completely destroyed by the Truidian Army. On March 14th, 2005 Semper Fidelis (SF) forces sent an invasion wave onshore on the beaches of Truidia City, the capital of Truidia in hopes of using the element of surprise and defeat the armies of Orphans TF. Initially the plan worked as Orphans absorbed 3 enemy waves and was pushed back several acres from the beach and into the country side. But after the third wave Orphans dug in and repelled another assault. By the time of the third wave by the Semper marines, Truidian armed forces had been made aware of the invasion and marched to support Orphans.

~ Invasion of the Semper Realm ~

Beating back the Semper invasion force President Jaco felt it necessary to take the invasion to the nation of Semper Fidelis for insulting the Truidians with their poorly planned and executed invasion of the Truidian lands. On March 22, 2005 in the early dawn hours, Truidian landing craft made their landings on the beaches of Semper Fidelis and immediately assaulted the two armies defending the lands, the SF armies of Spaced Invaders (6:21) and Legion of Legends (9:46). In order to keep SF armies confused and seperated, President Jaco also coordinated a smaller assault on the Lust beaches 50 miles to the east using the armies of Burning Dragon and Raven Fellowship. Burning Dragons enjoyed the same successes shared by Truidian forces on the other beachhead, totally destroying all defending forces.

~ Quick Victories ~

The Semper armed forces, clearly confused and surprised by the invasion of their home land retreated before the armies of Truidia. Tank wrecks and dead soldiers littered the lands as Truidian armies marched across thousands of acres undefended. 48 hours into the invasion the armies of SF were devastated, having lost 17000 acres in the initial invasion, SF leaders scrambled to meet the terms presented by TF pre invasion. As peace discussions began, Truidian marines continued their assault on the ill prepared defenses around the cities of 9:46 and 6:21.

~ Spaced Invaders and legion of Legends Fall, 30000 Acres Conquered ~

By the start of the third day Truidian marines had entered the two primary cities of Semper Fidelis and razed them to the ground. In retaliation for disgracing Truidian lands with their failed invasion waves the Truidian armies destroyed the two biggest cities in the realm of Semper with little effort involved. Most SF Armies had retreated fully or only put up token defenses, all of which were swiftly destroyed by the veteran soldiers of Truidia. By the end of the 4th day of the Truidian invasion of Semper Fidelis, 2 cities had been destroyed and approximately 36000 acres conquered and under Truidian control.

~ Peace Achieved and Lessons Learned ~

As the conflict neared a week in length and despite all the allied support Semper armies tried to involve and/or raise, peace was nearing. The Truidian Federation had no interest in destroying the realm of Semper Fidelis only punish them for their actions. Lady G, leader of the Shire of Secrecy, entered the conflict, albeit slightly supporting the nation of Semper Fidelis, and brokered peace between the two nations. Semper officials and leaders apologized to Jaco and Revival, a queen of TF who was insulted during the war and Jaco agreed to withdraw Truidian armies from the lands of Semper.Truidians again realized that when the cry to battle is made that there are few equals to their ferocity in battle. For the second straight alliance conflict no Truidian army lost a battle they engaged themselves into, an impressive statistic for a warring nation still very much in building. Even with all the success the nation of Truidia has had both in war and in peace it is essential that the forces of Truidian never think they are above anyone and continue to improve.
